the faces
this isn't Faces orginal song (cover of the motown band the Temptations) but this performance roooocks!
the Faces were English band formed in '69 with young Rod Stewart who at the time played really good rock tunes. you can also see mr Ronnie fuckin' Wood (do i have have to tell who is he?!)
they toured around the world between '70-'75 and became famous for their live shows (energetic, entertaining and on high musical standards)
the Faces broke up after 6 years but they are considered one of most influencial bands
(G'n R, Sex Pistols, Black Crows etc.) after split Ronnie joined Stones, Rod went solo, drummer Kenney Jones joined the Who, Ian McLagan (organs) was know for his session work and Ronnie Lane (bass) formed Ronnie Lane Slim Chance.
they reunite in 2009 for one gig but Rod didn't take part in it, and Ronnie Lane (R.I.P.) was replaced with Bill Wyman.
in 2010 Faces reunite again to play few festival and world tour in 2011, Rod Stewart won't be part of it again... Mick Hucknall from Simple Red take his duties and Glen Matlock will play bass guitar.

johnny thunders and the heartbreakers
Johnny Thunders!
this is 1979 live version of 'London Boys' by Johhny Thunders and the Heartbreakers.
London Boys is answer to Sex Pistols's New York... and I say 1:0 for Johnny.
i don't know what to write about JT... i love his work with Dolls, with Heartbreakers, with Wayne Kramer i love his solo albums, his style and his guitar playing. he's one inpiring motherfucker :)
too bad that i won't see him playing live.
Rest In Peace Johnny!
w.a.s.p.
this is oldschool metal footage from 1984.
the band is called W.A.S.P. and is fronted by Blackie Lawless. this guy was Johnny Thunders replacement in New York Dolls in late 70s then he played in few other bands. he even play with Nikki Sixx at one point and in Killer Kane Band (Dolls bass player!!), then he formed W.A.S.P.
their 80s stuff is just great, this is the metal that i like. i also like the fact that their first bass player Rik Fox was half-polish (his father was from Poland) :)
Blackie is only guy that played with W.A.S.P. from the early days.
too bad that Blackie is now some kind of extreme christian and he didn't want to play songs like Animal (Fuck Like a Beast)...
ps. why Chris Holmes (lead guitar) had pants with holes on his ass?!
song:W.A.S.P.-Animal(Fuck Like a Beast)

keith richards
i'm listening to new Keith Richards compilation album right now and i must say, everything that Keith has touched is awsome. album is called Vintage Vinos an it was released on november 2nd.
Vintage Vinos has got the best Keiths songs from his solo albums, Stones songs and bunch of live performances. he gave us his signature classic riffs as well as greeat rock ballads like 'Make no Mistake', he mix different genres. we can hear a lil' bit of funk grooves, a lil' bit of reagge( 'Too Rude') and of course a loot of blues and rock'n roll!
i know that this isn't nothing new, but still i love it. i'm not so familiar with his solo discography (i mostly listen to the Stones...) ,so this album open the doors for me. now i'm sure that i'm going to know them better.
maybe he isn't the best vocalist in the world but somehow i like his calm vocals plus i've always consider Keith Richards as a god of riff-makers, and know i have more proofs to my theory :)
just put this fuckin' CD into your cd-players/pc and enjoy great music from ol' buddy Keith :)
this video is 1988 promo for 'Make no Mistake' which is on the Vintage Vinos

zodiac mindwarp
this is video of Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction.
sleaze rock at it's best. Zodiac Mindwarp is alter ego of Mark Manning , this guy co-wrote Feed My Frankenstein with Alice Cooper.
Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction toured with bands like G'n R and Alice Cooper,
they took over Europe in late 80s but something must went wrong (we all know why hard rock died after 80s) and they dissapear.
this year their new album We Are Volsung came out. i haven't heard it yet, but i will :)
song: Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction - Prime Mover (1988 album Tattooed Beat Messiah)

ufo
another english hard rock band and another 1975 live performance ;)
this time it is UFO! they start in 1969 and after 41 years they still kickk some ass!
UFO was playing in Warsaw last year but i fucked this up and i didn't went to see them... i'm still pissed of about this. maybe next time....
this video contains Michael Schenker on guitar and Pete Way who is one-cool mothaaafuckaa and great solid hard rock bass player! :)
song: UFO-Rock Bottom /live 1975/ (1974 album 'Phenomenon')
led zeppelin
i was going to start this post with something like Led Zeppelin is great band, they have great instrumentalists(Bonzo is my all time favourite drummer), amazing vocalist and awsome tunes blah blah blah... but everybody know this already... nothing new...
sooooo, maybe it's better to just write that this video is '75 live performance of Communication Breakdown with awsome 'jamaican' jam by Led Zeppelin!
R.i.P John Bonham (1948-1980)
song:Led Zeppelin-Communication Breakdown /1975 live/(1969 album Led Zeppelin I)
joe perry project
Joe Perry Project was formed after Joe left Aerosmith back in the '79.
the band has some good fast, energetic r'nr tunes but unfortunately it hasn't succeed. from 1983-1984 another Aero member was playin with Joe, i'm talking about Brad Whitford, but still it wasn't Aerosmith.
finally in 1984 Joe and Brad rejoin Aerosmith. so it was short living act, but...
last year Joe Perry decided to start the Project again, they relase album "Have Guitar Will Travel" and went on tour as a opening act for Motley Crue.
i prefer JPP old albums from the 80s but this new one isn't that bad :)
song: Joe Perry Project-Let the Music Do the Talking /live form 2009/ (album:Let the Music Do the Talking 1980)

black sabbath live!
this is performance of Children of the Grave at the California Jam in 1974.
classic Sabbath lineup, fast heavy riff and a rainbow in a background... what do you need more?
i love energy of old classic Black Sabbath, it's perfect.
song: Black Sabbath- Children of the Grave live:California Jam 1974
dream on...
this is one of the best songs ever! it was written by one and only Steven Tyler (he's cool no matter if he's judging on american idol or not. fuck you haters).
Dream On was released on the 'Aerosmith' album in 1973 (btw. 'Aerosmith' is in my top ten albums)
i'll stop writing here... just enjoy this tune...
song: Aerosmith- Dream On ('Aerosmith' 1973)
the Beatles
some people thinks that you can't listen to the Beatles and the Stones, and that Beatles are better than Stones (or Stones better than Beatles, depends who you ask ;))
i like them both, they're different bands for me. Beatles are more pop oriented and Stones are more bluesy.
Getting Better is my #1 song when i'm hungover so i'll post it here maybe it'll cure someone.
song: the Beatles- Getting Better (Sgt Pepper Loney Hearts Club Band 1967)
ps. i'm liarrrr... i like Stones better (cause i listen to them more often), but i like and respect Beatles also :)
alice cooper
this is one of songs that i love to death. lyrics are sooo true, i can relate to them even though i'm not 18 anymore;) one of the rock'n roll anthems for me
plus i love this glitter-shock rock Alice Cooper, i mean he was great in the 80s, 90s and now he is also great but it isn't as good as his tunes back from 70s!
AC/DC
here's some AC/DC (with Bon Scott R.I.P.) for ya! i love songs like this one. it's simple, fast, loud, agressive and it has good lyrics (by good lyrics i mean its fun to listen and it has't got any i-love-her-but-she-dont-love-me-type-of-shit). some people might get piss off with this video and that's fine ('cause this is rock'n roll and as we know rock'n roll hates compromises!).
songs like this pump good energy into my veins!
song: AC/DC- Let There Be Rock (from "Let There Be rock" 1977)
queen once again
Oh my gooood! i was listening to the radio today 'n i heard this motherfuckin' riff!
why i didn't know this song? maybe i listen to old 70s Queen too much.
my head explode, Brian May did good job on this one!! and Freddie's voice is amazing as always!!! i realy miss thid dude...
song: Queen-Headlong (from 1991 album Innuendo)

aerosmith(2)
this time i give you Aerosmith orginal song not some fucking cover ;)
it's Chicquita from 1979 album Night in the Ruts (spoonerism of Right in the Nuts :) )
you can't see Joe Perry here but he played on the record. the guy who repled him is Jimmy Crespo and he played with Aero from 1979 to 1984.
mötley crüe again
Motley Crue - Live Wire
Załadowane przez: jpdc11. - Obejrzyj ostatnio promowane klipy wideo.
Mötley Crüe's Live Wire is best song ever!
when i listen to Too Fast For Love record for the first time i was blown away. opening riff is like atomic bomb, and it's a best way to open an album. then you got awsome chorus and the slow breakout thing is perfect.
in my case Live Wire was love at first sight, just like Too Fast For Love album.
new york dolls... again
so here's the Dolls again. this time is live performance of Chatterbox with one and only Johnny Thunders. for me this guy is punk guitar god! he could really play, he could sing, and he's one of most iconic musician ever.
later i'll post some of his solo stuff and something from his the Heartbreakers years...
cheap trick
Cheap Trick is finest mixture of hard rock, early punk and pop (you should see the difference in 70s pop and 90s/00s pop). the thing i love about Cheap Trick is the fact that their music is amazingly catchy.
some facts...
-formed in 1974, they record 17 studio albums (check out:they debut album Cheap Trick/1977/ and In Color /1977 as well/).
-band members: Robin Zander (voc/guitars),Rick Nielsen (guitar), Tom Petersson(bass) and Bun E. Carlos (dr)
-number 25 on VH1's list of 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
this song is called She's Tight
ps. check Bun E. Carlos- the drummer. he's most laid back drummer in the history of rock music haha...

mc5
kick out the jaaaaaaaaaam MOTHERFUCKERSSSSSSSS!!!!!
this band is called MC5 (MotorCity 5) and it's greeeeat American protopunk band formed in 1964 in Detroit.
MC5's first album Kick Out the Jams (1969) was recored live in Detroit. for a long time, phrase 'kick out the jams motherfuckerss!' was changed into 'kick out the jams brothers and sisters'. it was paste into orginal record and it sounds really fuckin' bad... record companies change it on reissued versions.
guitarist Wayne Kramer had played with Johnny Thunders in a band called Gangwar! in 1979/1980
song: MC5- Kick Out the Jams
aerosmith
Boston Bad Boysss.
this is one my fav bands. i don't know what should i write 'bout Aerosmith...
they have around since 1970, they record 14 studio albums, they are the best-selling American rock band of all time, they are included in Rollig Stone's list of 100 greatest artist of all time... is that enough? if i want to write everything bout them i guess i'll be sittin here for week maybe...
the fact is i love their bluesy hard rock style and their rock star attitude.
this song is cover of Yardbirds Train Kept a Rollin'
marc bolan/tina turner
this is song by Tina Turner (wtf?!) with almighty Marc Bolan on guitar. i don't know if it is Marc's merit but i just love this damn song!
song: Nutbush City Limits
lessdress
i'm proud to give you band from my homeland.
Lessdress is polish glam/hard rock band formed in 1984. they don't get all the attention that they deserve. their music is on world class level, they played something between Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Van Halen.
not so long ago Lessdress's first release Dumblondes was reissue by Sun City Records.
history of this band is full of splitting and reuniting but now they record and play again.
check Lessdress myspace site
song: Sweet Venice
iggy and the stooges
Mr.Iggy fuckin' Pop and motherfuckin' Stooges.
Iggy Pop is one of best performer ever. he fronted the Stooges from '68 to '75 and then he went solo.
Iggy collaborate with David Bowie. He played with Steve Jones, Duff McKagan and Slash from G'nR and Henry Rollins to name few. in 2003 Stooges reunite and they play together to this day.
Iggy was so loaded on drugs and booze that it's miracle that he is still with us and that he have so much power and energy even tough he's in his 60s!
this performace is from AOL session from 2003 and the song is called TV Eye

the babysitters
first time i've heard about the Babysitters was when i listen to Trash on Delivery, record with compilation of some great glam punk songs from the 80s. today i came across this video. this song is called I Wanna Be on TV and it's great example of uk glampunk. i must find their whole album somewhere
mick ronson
Mick Ronson was a trully great artist. He played with Bowie, Bob Dylan, Mott the Hoople, Ian Hunter. =it's the title song form his 1975 solo album Play Don't Worry.
why do artist like him pass away so soon?

hanoi rocks
ladies and gentelmans, i give you: HANOI ROCKS.
Hanoi Rocks was finnish band formed in 1979. they played something between glam rock, punk and hard rock (i call this kind of music pure rock'n fuckin' roll). they don't play anymore. they broke up two times. in 1985 'cause of death of their drummer Razzle (R.I.P.) then they reunite in 2001 and broke up in 2009 (Andy McCoy (gtr.) and Michael Monroe (voc) decided that they had taken the band as far as they could and that the band would break up).
i really recommend Hanoi albums from the 80s, you can hear great songwriting there.
steel panther
Steel Panther is one of the new bands that i love. they have great lyrics bout sex drugs and rock'n roll, awsome videos and stage presence! they sing with celebrities and rockstar in their weekly concerts in LA area. this song is called Community Property.
Check this guys out @ myspace
Steel Panther really kicks ass!
you gotta wait for a while for a video to load 'cause it's not from youtube (i wanna put uncensored version)
11/1/10
t.rex
another great uk glam rock/hard rock band... Marc Bolan(voc/guitar) was the leader, brain and songwriter. unfortunately he died in car crash at the age of 29... t.rex died the same day. later Mickey Finn who plays percussions in the band created Mickey Finn's T.Rex which played T.Rex covers...
cinderella
the Last Mile is my fav track from Cinderella. it's from 1988 album Long Cold Winter.
there is something in the 80s and 70s music that make you wanna put your fist in the air and start headbangin'
black sabbath
video is little out of sync, but i like it anyway. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath! i love this classic line up, Dio (R.I.P.) was a great singer for sure but when i'm thinking Sabbath i see Ozzy.
too bad that this video ain't full...the riff on the end of song is heavy as fuck and it blows my mind!!
eddie & the hot rods
i just find out this band. i was listening Michael Monroe's version of Do Anything You Wanna Do and i decided to find orginal version. it rocks!
you should check out Monroe's version too.
rock 'n' fucking roll, dude.
